History of Wonder Heights International School  (WHITS)

             WHITS was birthed on September 03, 2024 after many years of incubation when a long awaited dream was hatched into reality. Our mission and vision statement in summary is to raise a new crop of people who will take the world by surprise through innovative ways of education by cultivating tomorrow’s global leaders. 

              The background to the birth of WHITS is to bring on board, a life changing scenes in education to positively affect lives which will eventually change the perception of teaching and learning in our part of the world, Ghana. 

               The school is situated in a peri-urban community to firstly bring to fruition a wave of modernity so that the community will have a feel and gain access to enrolling their wards and also have a good taste of modernity, something outside the norm. 

               Also, for middle income earners who have relocated from the cities to have equally good education for their wards in an environment such as Afienya. 

              WHITS is poised to meet the world standard of education where learners will be trained to apply their heads, hearts and hands. Meaning, learners will be able to practically do whatever they are taught, have passion in whatever discipline they choose to do and also have compassion for one another and also tap into their God given gifts and talents and possibly turn them into a profession and trade that will equally build their capacity as a people in the near future. In summary, WHITS looks forward to building a holistic and a vibrant future for all learners who walk through the confines of the school.     

               WHITS, currently runs a hybrid curriculum that is the Cambridge and the Ghana Education Services curricular interspersed with a flavor of Montessori teaching and learning. Our co-curricular and extra curriculum activities are underway with equipped library, full-fledged ICT Lab, Music lessons, reading club are but a few being taught at WHITS.
Looking into the near future, WHITS will be a “one-stop den of knowledge” where all aspects of anything and everything that has to do with education will be harnessed, nursed and planted for growth and vitality. 

 In the medium term, there’s going to be facilities like:- 

1. Secondary School

 2. College 

3. Boarding House 

 4. Hostels for students 

 5. Housing for facilitators

 6. Mini sports stadium equipped with a swimming pool, tennis, basket, volley ball, handball courts, table tennis and football field.

 7. Play house and game centers 

                  In the long term WHITS will be a complex school where no matter the location or distance, it will be a step away to access quality education for all and sundry. In conclusion, WHITS, is a beacon of hope to all who understands quality education. Management extends its tentacles to meet the needs of parents who understands what education means to life because education is the only platform that brings together both the poor and the rich under one roof to share a common vision. WHITS beacons all like-minded people to come and join the train of hope in education and have a good ride as they enjoy quality education.
